Afore Consulting has vacancies for traineeships to provide support on European public affairs. This is an opportunity to gain an insight into how to engage with the European institutions, how to make effective representations and build a transferable skill set for a future career working in an international political environment.

What we offer

We offer an intellectually challenging and dynamic environment alongside our team of highly skilled consultants. It is an opportunity to learn about how we work as a consultancy as well as acquiring the practical skills needed to work in the European public affairs environment.

You will be assisting our consultants with:

Monitoring priority issues;
Supporting on client outreaches and briefings;
Attending conferences and events;
Conducting research and reporting findings in a clear and concise manner;
Preparing reports and newsletters on financial services issues;
Assisting with events;
Joining client meetings and conference calls as appropriate.

We offer a six-month placement starting in January 2025 with a Belgian employment contract, cheque repas and medical insurance. Our office is located in the European Quarter, Brussels.

Candidate Profile

You will have an excellent academic understanding of the European institutions and a genuine enthusiasm for working in a political environment. You have professional fluency in English, excellent organization skills and be comfortable working as part of a multicultural team. You will thrive working in a dynamic environment.
