Eurelectric is the sector association which represents the common interests of the electricity industry at pan-European level. Since 2019 Eurelectric has been animating a growing network of more than 50 corporates that comprise our business membership in addition to the 3500 electric utilities and associations that comprise our core full membership. Eurelectric is managing four distinct Business Hubs which facilitate connections and live peer exchanges for Eurelectric business and full members on the following topics: digital, e-mobility, electricity grids and corporate energy sourcing.

Eurelectric is recruiting a full-time Business Development Officer whose main responsibility will be driving forward a business hub’s agenda and growing Eurelectric business opportunities.

As Business Development Officer, you will, in collaboration with Eurelectric secretariat and partners:

  • Lead the operations of one of Eurelectric's Business Hubs, supporting its planning, content development, and logistics;
  • Engage with current and prospective Business Associates, identifying opportunities for new partnerships and supporting acquisition efforts;
  • Assist the Business Development team in delivering high-quality services to members, including sponsorship packages and business collaborations;
  • Support Eurelectric presence at third-party events: plan and manage the logistics, set up b2b meetings and organise team presence at large international conferences and trade fairs;
  • Stay informed on industry trends and business opportunities relevant to Eurelectric’s work.

Profile:

  • University degree in a relevant field (business, economics, political science, or similar);
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in business development, public affairs, or the power sector in general;
  • Strong organisational skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to supporting projects and partnerships;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and external stakeholders;
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Willingness to travel for business-related activities;
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Our offer:

Eurelectric offers a full-time position with a one-year contract starting in as soon as possible.

Contract extension may be possible depending on funding.
