Afore Consulting is a specialized European public affairs consultancy providing services to the financial services sector and tech companies. Our team has a respected presence in Brussels with a solid knowledge and confident understanding of European financial services, sustainable finance and digital issues. As we are embarking on the work programme of the new European Parliament and Commission, we want to expand our team. To help service our existing clients and take advantage of growth in new areas, we are recruiting people with talent, ambition and sound knowledge of Brussels to join our team.

Consultants – what we are looking for

We are a forward-thinking team operating in a politically dynamic environment. Since we are a specialized consultancy, we encourage our consultants to develop areas of specialization. For that reason, we are seeking individuals with knowledge of financial services, sustainable finance or the digital files which over time with us, can be developed further.

You will be comfortable working in the Brussels political environment and have a proactive approach to developing networks and working relationships. You will be responsive to clients and an excellent communicator. You will have a solid academic and practical knowledge of how Brussels works.

In addition to the day-to-day client servicing, we have opportunities for you to increase your profile through various events we organize and host either directly or with other partners. The salary will reflect your experience and qualifications. We offer a full-time contract under Belgian law with cheque-repas and medical insurance.

Candidate Profile

You will have honed your skills in the European public affairs space, in-house or another consultancy with 3-5 years’ work experience. You enjoy working with a dynamic, high achieving team. You are looking to take that next step in your career, to be part of a team but increase your own profile and develop a specialization. As we have several openings, we are also happy to consider individuals who are more experienced for more senior roles.
