The Scope:
This position contributes directly to ensuring the integrity and credibility of the FSC system. The Integrity Manager works to deliver targeted solutions to address FSC supply chain integrity, in particular to investigate and prevent the occurrence of false claims and wrongdoings. This person will work on integrity investigations and projects, identification of integrity risks and preparation and implementation of relevant solutions, including changes to FSC normative framework, while also managing projects with external partners. We search for a detailed-oriented person with good analytical skills, who can organize and execute needed administrative tasks, sees a big picture of an investigation, and enjoys solving a mystery.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage supply chain integrity investigations, both individual incidents and large scale integrity projects, and execute follow-up actions;
- Coordinate with ASI, CBs, FSC staff and FSC Network to address supply chain integrity issues;
- Represent Supply Chain Integrity team and provide input into the development of FSC normative framework and revision of FSC normative requirements;
- Provide support for the development and adoption of integrity tools;
- Support communication, including crisis communications, for supply chain integrity activities;
- Build and maintain effective contacts and good relations with stakeholders, affected by relevant normative documents and supply chain integrity activities;
- Identify, advise on, monitor and review system improvement;
- Any other task as assigned by formal supervisor and project work as assigned according to organizational needs.
Your profile:
Education and Training:
- University/technical college degree or equivalent training or experience in a field of natural resource, environmental management, risk management, law, international trade, forestry or other relevant specialization.
Working Experience, Style and Skills:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: project management, natural resource/environmental/risk management, certification or legal compliance;
- Auditing, quality assurance, consultancy or forensic investigation experience is an asset;
- Training in or experience with FSC certification or other certification schemes is a plus;
- Project management experience: record of managing cross-functional or multi-stakeholder collaborative projects;
- Proven ability to structure complex material and present it in a clear and simple manner;
- Analytical and structured approach to problems;
- Attention to detail;
- Good time management skills;
- Solution and service-oriented attitude to work;
- Work ethics to maintain good relationships with internal and external parties.
Languages:
- Fluency in English (spoken and written);
- Other languages are a plus;
- Sound verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to facilitate interactive discussions.
Computer Skills – good skills in the use of/experience with:
- Standard software packages (MS Office), in particular experience with analyzing data in Excel, Power BI and solid experience with Power Point are a plus.
