Are you passionate about Erasmus+ and international mobility? Do you want to put into practice your communication skills and learn about European projects implementation? This is the position for you!
A Communication Officer position (under the Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle) of 6 months (extendable) is available in the operational office of garagErasmus in Brussels, at the heart of the European cluster, in a young, dynamic and international environment.
YOUR ROLE
- Implement garagErasmus general communication (gE activities, gE network);
- You will work with the Project Officers to implement the EU projects communication;
- Support in the organisation of garagErasmus events and activities (conferences, trainings, etc.).
TASKS
- Update garagErasmus’ website;
- Draft news articles;
- Manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X);
- Draft visuals (for social media, documents, newsletter) and videos;
- Prepare the monthly newsletters;
- Overall coordination of gE communication activities.
PROFILE
- Experience with Wordpress, Canva, Mailchimp and video editing tools;
- Knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Tik Tok and X;
- Experience in producing visuals for social media channels;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite;
- Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of French, Italian or Dutch is a plus;
- Ability to work both in a team and independently;
- Available to travel in Europe.
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Previous experience or a strong interest in garagErasmus areas of activity (international mobility, education) and non-profit work;
- Previous experience and/or studies in communication;
- Previous experience in EU projects;
- Previous engagement in NGOs or youth organisations as a volunteer.
