Are you qualified to postgraduate level in social development, political science, international relations, community development, planning, applied economics, law or a related discipline? Do you have sound experience of identifying, managing and monitoring the operational aspects, risks and impacts of social infrastructure projects? Then you can play a crucial part within the Technical Assessment & Monitoring Directorate of a pan-European development bank with a unique social mandate.

Strengthening social cohesion and building thriving communities in Europe, we drive inclusive growth, bolster economic sustainability – and create exceptional careers.

In this position, you will contribute to assessments on investments relating to cutting-edge areas such as climate change (including transition, resilience and adaptation), gender equality and digitalisation. Under the supervision of senior Procurement and Technical Advisors, you will be asked to develop guidelines and procedures for interventions as well as participating in creating new approaches to procurement and due diligence. This will involve drafting notes, presentations and briefings, conducting analysis at sector and country level and strengthening our methodological framework, so you will require both meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to see the broader picture.

To join us, you should bring:

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, preferably backed by knowledge of database software;
  • Willingness to travel regularly;
