Environmental Democracy Lawyer
We have an excellent opportunity for a reliable, self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment to join our Environmental Democracy project as part of the Strategic Litigation team. The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day work ensuring the correct implementation of access rights provided by the Aarhus Convention and case-law of the Court of Justice of the EU and other relevant jurisdictions and complaint mechanisms.
The successful candidate will hold a degree in EU law and/or a professional qualification in French law and have at least three years’ relevant professional experience in a legal setting.
Funding for this position is secured for 6 months, with the strong possibility of an extension or of securing a permanent contract, assuming continued funding is provided.
This position will be based in Brussels and may involve occasional travel within the EU.
Salary range for this role is €3,200 gross per month.
