Are you highly experienced in communications within an international organisation, financial institution, European body, investment bank or policy-oriented research organisation? Do you have a proven record of devising and implementing far-reaching strategies? Then you can communicate the powerful message of a pan-European development bank with a unique mandate to deliver far-reaching social change.

Co-ordinating our corporate publications, including our flagship reports, you will make certain that key stakeholders fully understand our vital work. This will involve creating content for the full media mix, from online to print and social media, directing videos and drafting press releases, whilst actively driving our digital transformation to keep us at the forefront of innovation.

To join us, you should bring:

  • A postgraduate qualification in journalism, communication, international relations or a related discipline;
  • Extensive experience in a communication role acquired within an international organisation, International Financial Institution (IFI), European Institution, investment banks or policy-oriented research institution;
  • Proven flair for overseeing publishing workflows, media engagement, social media, donor-related activities and internal communications;
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills;
  • Strong analytical abilities and broad understanding of financial markets and activities;
  • A high level of initiative combined with a collaborative approach;
  • Full fluency in either English or French, backed by a working knowledge of the other language;
  • Finally, familiarity with multimedia tools such as Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.), digital publishing platforms such as Quark and web content management systems would be useful but is not essential.
