Our Climate, Energy and Environment Policy team works on European initiatives in the field of climate mitigation and adaptation, energy policy (e.g. energy prices, security of supply, energy efficiency, renewable energy), environmental legislation (e.g. water, pollution, biodiversity), and circular economy (sustainable products, waste, materials).

Overview of learning opportunities

• monitor and assess EU initiatives in climate, energy and environment policy;
• prepare communication material, e.g. weekly newsletter for members;
• support meeting organisation with members of European institutions like MEP and our member organisations;
• assist in preparing advocacy material.

Skills & competences

• Master's degree;
• team-player, proactive and inquisitive mindset;
• analytical and organisational skills;
• ability to work independently;
• effective verbal and written communication skills;
• attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
• IT skilled, with good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and social media;
• fluent in English – knowledge of other European languages is an added value;
• legal right to perform a traineeship in the European Union.
