Position Overview

ChargeUp Europe is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Officer to manage the creation of the third edition of the association’s flagship State of the Industry report. This key publication will provide insights into the current status and future trends of the EV charging sector, and your role will be critical in ensuring its successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Officer will:

  • Work closely with ChargeUp Europe’s secretariat as well as its management, policy and communications committees to lead and manage the entire process of creating the State of the Industry report, from planning to publication;
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and industry experts to gather and analyze relevant data and information;
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project timeline, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met;
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and reviews related to the report’s production, and regular updates to the secretariat and committees on the project’s progress;
  • Liaise with an external graphic designer to coordinate the visuals and final layout of the report;
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of the report’s content, including proofreading and fact-checking;
  • Assist the secretariat’s policy and communications teams on ad-hoc drafting and editing tasks as required.

The ideal candidate would bring

  • 1-3 years of working experience in project management or research;
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope;
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in written content and data accuracy;
  • Comfort in managing the inputs and opinions of a variety of stakeholders a plus;
  • Native or native-level English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills (any additional languages are an asset);
  • Sectoral experience in e-mobility or a related field is preferred but not mandatory;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team;
  • Existing proficiency in project management tools and software is an advantage.
