The European Climate Foundation (ECF) was founded in 2008 as a major philanthropic initiative to help tackle climate change by fostering the development of a low-carbon society at the national, European and global level.
We support over 280 partner organisations to carry out activities that contribute to the public debate on climate action, drive urgent and ambitious policy in support of the objectives of the Paris Agreement and help deliver a socially responsible transition to a net-zero emissions economy and sustainable society in Europe and around the world.
The International Group at the European Climate Foundation is looking for an Associate to support the International Climate Politics Hub. The priority of the role is primarily to provide funding, budget and financial management for both platform secretariats.
The International Climate Politics Hub is an international network of actors working together to facilitate an increase in global climate ambition and ensure that every opportunity – directly or indirectly related to climate – is used as a launchpad to leverage this ambition. The network is wide ranging and includes representation from across think tank, NGO, Government, business, investors, cities, and civil society organisations. We aim to set the world on track to achieve the Paris Agreement’s objectives on time, codeveloping a regularly updated political influence strategy to guide our actions.
Brussels preferred. The Hague, London and Paris also possible.
