Senior CAP Specialist - Agriculture & Land Management Team

IEEP is looking for a full-time Senior Policy Analyst with particular expertise on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and rural development policy. You will play a leading role on the development and implementation of the CAP and related European environmental and climate policy issues at both the European and national levels in the run up to the next CAP reform and beyond.

You must be an outstanding individual with an established reputation in policies relating to agriculture, land use as well as expertise in the CAP and policies relating to climate and agriculture/land use, rural development and food. You must have demonstrated strong intellectual capacity in policy analysis at EU level, have excellent analytical and report writing skills, and be an experienced, confident and effective communicator and a dedicated team player and motivator.

The years ahead are a critical moment in the development of European agriculture and land use policies. IEEP has a strong track record in influential research and policy advice which helps achieve real world change. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an influential, analytical and committed researcher, keen to play a leading role in policymaking on European agriculture, land use, rural development, climate and the environment, and happy to be challenged in a fast paced environment.
