You will be based in our Brussels office and will be part of our Public and Social Sector practice (PSSP). This group provides management consulting services to governments and social sector agencies at all levels in the European region.
You will report directly to the PSSP Proposal Team leader and join our enthusiastic and driven global PSSP practice team and the network of proposal professionals.
You will be involved in strategic discussions as you partner with consulting teams and the sector and practice leaders to expand the firm’s impact in the region.
You will have a key role in proposal management and client development. Your focus will be on driving end-to-end proposal development and management for Public and Social Sector practice (PSSP) clients (80%), and creating and maintaining a library of proposal materials (20%). As the role develops, we envision the opportunity to build relationships with key PSSP clients.
In your role you’ll help partners and teams win proposals by developing high quality proposal responses. On a specific proposal, you’ll coordinate and lead a kick-off meeting to define our value proposition. The work will involve interpreting RFP requirements, establishing a working rhythm, and supporting partners in facilitating the proposal development team. As an expert in public sector procurement, you will coach teams on industry best practices and methods for proposal writing.
You will assemble and review proposal drafts, edit material and ensure final formatting and layout of proposals in preparation for production. Working collaboratively with teams, you will also develop content for non-technical portions of the proposal response such as staffing, risk management, resumes and reference cases.
You will build and strengthen PSSP’s proposal infrastructure and institutional capabilities and processes. You will create a proposal library of best practice wording and guidance, develop and maintain a database of proposal activity and client feedback, and analyse and report on activity and trends to PSSP leadership.
