Yellow Window is looking for a consultant to join its team: temporary position (1 year), with possibility to be extended.

Function description:

Working at the Antwerp office, the new team member will participate in and contribute to policy design, decision-support and institutional change projects, primarily in the framework of EU Horizon 2020 projects. Tasks will involve:

  • support for the co-ordination of EU-funded international projects, mainly in the area of EU research policy, on the topic of gender equality;
  • contribute to communication and dissemination tasks for these projects (website and social media);
  • desk research, interviews;
  • data analysis and report writing;
  • preparation of tender/proposal dossiers.

Requirements:

  • university degree at MA level (in political studies, EU studies, or other relevant fields);
  • strong analytic and synthetic thinking skills;
  • excellent English, spoken and written;
  • accuracy and quality-consciousness;
  • keen interest in EU affairs;
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • a natural drive to learn on a continuous basis;
  • well-organised and punctual;
  • capable to work in team as well as independently;
  • holding a work permit to work in Belgium.

Will be considered as assets:

  • proven affinity with gender equality projects/gender research;
  • fluency in French;
  • knowledge of any other official EU language;
  • experience as trainee - or otherwise - within any EU institution.
