We are looking for an enthusiastic Policy Officer/Manager (depending on experience) who will be responsible for coordinating the work on consumer-related files, copyright and intermediary liability. Knowledge in one or more of the abovementioned topics is highly recommended and should be highlighted in both the CV and the cover letter.

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Degree in law, economics, political science or a related field;
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a policy, advocacy, government or campaigns role. Experience working with the European institutions is a plus;
  • Understanding of, or interest in, consumer policy, copyright (incl. private copying levies) and online intermediary policy (incl. Terrorist Content Online/Digital Services Act);
  • Ability to build consensus and promote trust both externally and internally;
  • Excellent research, writing and analytical skills;
  • Ability to synthesise policy documents, identifying relevant key points, facts and statistics that help explain complicated policy topics to broad audiences in a concise way;
  • Ability to drive advocacy campaigns combining policy lobbying and media work;
  • Excellent writing skills in English and in another EU language;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and culturally diverse environment, with competing priorities and workloads;
  • Well-organised with ability to multitask;
  • Ability to consistently apply good judgment and make good and responsible decisions.
