The Carbon Capture & Storage Association (CCSA), is seeking a highly motivated Policy and Communications Officer for its Brussels office.
Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time and the possibility to capture, transport and store (CCS) or utilise (CCU) carbon dioxide will be crucial to ensure a sustainable, competitive and equitable transition to a low-carbon Europe.
The CCSA represents a wide variety of organisations with an interest in the development and deployment of CCS technologies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and support the transition to a low-carbon economy. The CCSA also coordinates, under the European Commission Horizon 2020 programme, the Zero Emissions Technology and Innovation Platform (ZEP) and leads the consortium that supports the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan) group with responsibility for CCS and CCU. Both programmes support the coordination and collaboration of a wide range of stakeholders, including EU institutions, national governments, industry, researchers and civil society.
Deadline for applications: 8th September 2019
To apply, please send a CV and letter of motivation (maximum one page) to firstname.lastname@example.org, with “Policy and Communication Officer, Brussels” in the subject field. Interviews will take place in Brussels in mid-September, with appointment shortly thereafter.
