Our client is a widely recognised trade association with a fantastic reputation for lobbying across a broad range of issues on behalf of their industry and well-known brands.
They are looking for a European Government Affairs Manager to lead their engagement across Europe to develop policy positions on key challenges facing the industry, including regulation, trade, and environment issues.
You will need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the EU decision making process, with a solid relevant experience in EU affairs.
You will need to be a proven influencer with the ability to build meaningful relationships amongst members, politicians, businesses and other key stakeholders to support the industry.
This is an autonomous role so you will need to be a motivated self-starter and an excellent communicator with the ability to work independently.
The role is base in Brussels and requires an excellent command of English with additional languages such as French, German or Dutch being particularly valuable.
