We are looking for a Human Resources Professional who is excited by the challenge of providing an excellent service in a stimulating international environment. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Officer, you will be part of the recruitment team responsible for delivering high quality, comprehensive recruitment and HR service in line with internal guidelines and procedures. The EMBL Human Resources unit is responsible for the Laboratory's staff of approx. 1700 persons from over 80 nations working at its 6 sites across Europe.
In close cooperation with the hiring managers, you will be responsible for the full recruitment process, supported by our e-recruitment/ATS system. Tasks include:
We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Professional who can demonstrate credibility and the ability to develop strong relationships. The successful candidate must have a university degree (Master or equivalent) with at least 5 years of working experience in HR, and out of those 3 years with a focus on recruitment, ideally at international level.
A good working knowledge of German, French and/or Spanish will be an advantage.

As part of EMBL's mission, the Administration unit provides support and services to all personnel members across six sites in order to promote molecular biology across Europe, and to create a centre of excellence for leading young molecular biologists. Administrative positions are connected to but not dependent on scientific work and knowledge. Thus, we aim to establish a dynamic and collaborative working environment across the whole of EMBL to uncover the most of our employees' potential.
