You advise and assist clients concerning EU competition policy and cases, with a focus on State aids;
You monitor and analyze relevant developments in this field;
You develop and maintain a network of contacts at the European Commission and Permanent Representations of EU Member States;
You are responsible for handling a varied portfolio of assignments and developing your relationships with existing clients;
You help attract new clients in the field of State aids and beyond (e.g. antitrust, energy, ETS/BAM).
You have a university degree, ideally in law or European Studies;
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in EU State aid policy, preferably including a stay at the EU institutions. Competences in other fields (trade, external relations, regulation) are a plus;
You have an excellent network in the EU institutions;
You can communicate seamlessly in English and French. A command of German is a big plus, other languages are welcome;
You possess excellent communication skills;
You are a genuine team player.
