We have an exciting paid 3 month internship opportunity at leading global health policy consultancy based in London.
We are recruiting for a paid intern to join our A&R Edelman global health policy team to work across a number of global and regional Health Policy and Market Access accounts.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of health-related briefs on behalf of some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.
The candidate should have a strong base understanding of the global health policy environment (including key international organisations and stakeholders) and be a strong communicator, with research and analytical skills. Some experience or interest in health as it relates to policy is required.
The successful applicant would be responsible for or involved in:
- Monitoring health policy developments and identifying trends;
- Researching and writing policy briefings;
- Researching healthcare issues such as system changes, pricing and reimbursement;
- Pinpointing health stakeholders and events;
- Supporting our team of consultants and researchers and managing administrative tasks for client projects.
The successful candidate will have a policy background whether through studying politics or being an active participant in politics in your spare time. You will have strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail and will be looking for an opportunity where you can learn and embrace the world of policy. The intern must be able to work effectively with a variety of account service staff within a specific set of accounts. S/he must have good organizational skills and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines. S/he must have solid knowledge of MS Office Suite and superior verbal and written communication skills. The Intern is generally someone who has recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and is looking for entry-level experience in Public Relations. S/he must demonstrate the ability to become a strong writer. Familiarity with the Public Relations discipline through past coursework or other internships is desirable.
